I’m thinking of completely quitting the whole “online dating” thing.
I’m really tired of getting excited for a message, and then it says something generic like “Hey my name is X and I am new in town, and in the army. I like your profile and would like to chat sometime.” And then when they do decide to start real conversation, they eventually decide to stop talking to me. I can get that from people in real life, thank you.
Even if it means I won’t meet anyone ever because it’s hard for me to make friends. It’d save myself time. And that way there’s no awkwardness of worrying about what to explain to people. Odds are that I’ll meet the love of my life in real life, and not through a dating site.
Le sigh. I wish I had more people to spend time with.

I never did the Online dating thing but met my wife online. So never rule it out. But Yeah Dating sites suck and I hate the same “Ohhhh you look interesting” crap.

Wish we lived close by each other so we could be IRL friends :)

You and me both, girlie. I’m over the online dating thing too. It’s pretty unsatisfying.
