Am pretty freaking proud of myself.
They say after years of marriage couples start to look alike. Fortunately for The Hammer she doesn’t even closely resemble me.

Yes, Facebook. That’s exactly something I wanted to know about my friends.
Oh wait, no. I don’t want to know. Thanks Facebook.
In case you were wondering where all your Facebook friends from your hometown were yesterday.

Okay last one.
As you guys have probably read in previous posts, my mom is highly conservative and strongly against my being liberal.
In today’s most recent arguments about politics with my family that I try to avoid, my mom starts off with pointing to the table and saying “Your shit’s here.” It was my voter’s registration card. Apparently she didn’t believe I had actually switched parties.
And now she’s saying that she’s worried about what I’m going to become and that I’m “going down a bad road”. Seriously?
Then she brought up the whole Chik Fil A thing and that caused another argument.
She is so mad at me about something that does not affect her. I get her meddling into my life about everything else, but this is just absurd. My stance on politics have nothing to do with her. That’s why I avoid talking about it but she INSISTS on bringing it up. No. Just no. It makes me not want to speak to her so I’d rather just have lunch in my room so I don’t have to see her.
Ugh. Can’t wait until this election is over so she can stop this.
In which Jackson Pearce gives a perfect account of why Chick-fil-A’s anti-marriage announcement just wasn’t cool. One side note, though - because ENDA has yet to pass, it technically is legal for the restaurant to discriminate against LGBT employees in something like 30 states.
This. And the follow up video after this.
